Glenn Christensen
Glenn Christensen, President/CEO,
founded Reflection Point to provide advanced consulting, information management and
eFinance services to the financial services industry.
Glenn has been providing consulting services since 1991, focusing on strategic
planning, financial analysis, marketing, branch analysis, and technology.
Glenns experience includes serving as President of a start-up technology company,
Chief Operating Officer for the Washington Credit Union League, leading interactive
television initiatives for Microsoft, profit planning for a super-regional bank and as a
credit union Vice President.
He refined his expertise in business development and emerging technologies at
Microsoft, which he has used to successfully launch innovative new products to serve the
financial services industry.
He led the formation of a nationwide ATM network, MemberAccess Pacific, and entered
into a strategic alliance with VISA DPS to provide processing services for the credit
union market.
He helped establish "CU at the Dealer", a statewide indirect lending program
between credit unions, their members, and car dealers, to assist credit unions in
recapturing market share lost to dealer financing.
Glenn established and managed "MortgageDepartment.com", a mortgage program
that provided loan origination, processing and secondary market sales. Initiated
Internet-based affiliate program, and steered direct and online marketing campaigns.
Additionally, he implemented web development and hosting services for credit unions,
offering customized sites and a template-based versions enabling rapid deployment credit
unions.
Glenn was on the Marketing Team for the Multimedia Systems Group where he led the
development of business plan for adapting Windows to a broad range of consumer devices
such as palmtops, set-top cable boxes and HDTV.
He is also well known for his marketing acumen as recipient of the Phil Davies Memorial
Award for "Best of Show" from the Credit Union Executives Societys Golden
Mirror Award competition
Glenn is a contributing author to Credit Union Facility Planning and Management
and Facility Planning and Management for Banks, co-authored a study on the impact
of taxation on credit unions, and is a frequent speaker at financial conferences.
He also holds an MBA and BA in Business Administration from the University of
Washington. He is also a graduate of Sandefjord Gymnas, Norway. |
